Why We’re Here

Greater Good 50/50 was created to give any Maryland charitable organization with nonprofit status a simple, modern way to raise funds, rally community support, and create consistent impact all year long.

This statewide weekly raffle takes the proven success of Maryland’s Firefighter 50/50 charitable gaming program and expands it far beyond first responders—now supporting causes that strengthen every corner of the community.

When you play, you’re doing two things at once:

1. Boosting the jackpot for players, and
2. Fueling mission-driven organizations doing real work right here at home.

That’s what it means to play it forward.

How the Weekly 50/50 Works

1. Buy your ticket — online, fast, and easy.

2. Watch the pot grow as nonprofits across Maryland share the word

3. One winner takes 50% of the total jackpot every Wednesday night. (We call and email the winner!)

4. One winner takes home $500 on Monday at 8p in the Early Bird Draw!

At checkout, you’ll pick the Maryland nonprofit you want to support and a dedicated portion of your ticket goes directly to that organization to help fund:
